Zemma Mastin White is a painter, and
printmaker. She has discovered an inspiring interchange between painting and
printmaking. Her focus is about mark making. Working with mixed media, she combines a
matrix of layering line, color and forms; intriguing patterns and textures
emerge, yielding a great richness and depth to the surface.
Zemma is a graduate of the University of
Maryland, College Park, where she studied Graphic Design, painting and drawing.
She had the privilege of working with Anne Truitt, David Driskel and Sam
Gilliam.
Her
work is represented in collections such as the Neuberger Berman Collection, Vic
Corporate Art, American Board of Surgery, Hassett Willis and Company, Dewitt
Stern, Post University, Conner Strong & Buckelew, Forest City Management,
Orrick & Company, Axcess Worldwide, Risk Stategies and Hilton Worldwide.
She has exhibited her work at The New York Armory Show, The New York
Contemporary Art in Print Fair, The Whistler House Museum of Art, Katonah
Museum of Art, The Lancaster Museum of Art, The Mattatuck Museum, The Discovery
Museum, The Munson Gallery, Cynthia Reeves Gallery and Massoniart Gallery.
